To ensure a smooth and efficient appointment, we kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. This allows us to complete any necessary preparation and paperwork beforehand. If you have scheduled a facial service or consultation, we recommend arriving without makeup if possible. 

For patients who are receiving injectable treatments and are taking blood thinners such as aspirin, Plavix, warfarin, Advil, Motrin. To optimize the effectiveness of injectable or micro-needling treatments, we recommend avoiding alcoholic beverages for at least 24 hours before your appointment.

The recovery time for most of our procedures is minimal, with many patients able to resume their normal activities, including work, on the same day. It's important to note that certain injectables may cause mild swelling for up to 24 hours. For more intensive treatments such as deep peels, micro-needling, or combined procedures, a longer recovery period may be required.

Yes. We advise all of our patients that they may not be exposed to the sun at high levels or be on any sun-sensitive antibiotics for the 2 weeks prior to your appointment. In addition, you need to be off of any products containing retinol as this will increase the peeling process.

Mild discomfort or stinging/itching may occur during and/or after chemical peels.

At Origins, we offer and utilize skincare products that are commonly known as "medical grade" or "pharmaceutical grade." These products are distinguished by their higher concentration of active ingredients and superior quality compared to over-the-counter options. Furthermore, these products have undergone rigorous testing and studies to demonstrate their effectiveness.

Dermal fillers can be used to temporarily restore and contour various facial areas, including the cheeks, lips, smile lines, under eyes, jawline, chin, and marionette lines. The amount of filler needed is typically measured in syringes, with one syringe being roughly equivalent to one tablespoon. Your practitioner will assess the areas and recommend the appropriate amounts to achieve optimal results.
